FITNESS CLASSES
Tuesdays and Thursdays. Cost: $3.00/class
11:15 am-12:00 pm at Bemis Hall
Designed to help maintain strength, flexibility, and independence with both standing and seating exercise using resistance bands provided by the COA&HS. Warm-up moving your body and joints through their full range of motion without resistance to the music. Strengthening your muscles with various upper and lower body exercises. Full body stretch designed to lower your heart rate, relieve stress, increase flexibility, and leave you feeling great. Class can be done seated or standing. Taught by Terri Zaborowksi.
ACTIVE AGING
Tuesdays and Thursdays. Cost: $3.00/class
12:15 pm-1:00 pm at Bemis Hall
Functional fitness class with exercises designed to help seniors maintain strength, balance, and independence. Designed for every fitness level with modifications and adaptations. Flexibility training to increase joint range of motion. Balance exercises to improve gait and confidence. Resistance training to build lean muscle and increase bone density all to the beat of the music! Finish with a 5-minute stretch. Taught by Terri Zaborowki.
LINE DANCING
Wednesdays. Cost: $3.00/class
11:00 am-12:00 pm at Bemis Hall
Enjoy the fun of line dancing. All levels are welcome to participate. Taught by Katrina Rotondi.

TAI CHI FOR HEALTH, REHABILITATION, AND WELLNESS
Tai Chi (Beginner/Level 1)
Mondays at 2:00 pm, Wednesdays at 1:00 pm, and Thursdays at 9:15 am.
Tai Chi (Advanced/Level 2)
Mondays at 3:00 pm and Thursdays at 10:15 am.
Tai Chi (Advanced/Level 3)
Wednesdays at 2:00 pm
This gentle practice works the joints and muscles to increase flexibility, strength, balance, and circulation. meets for three sessions of about ten weeks each in the fall, winter, and spring via Zoom. SAIL (Stay Active and Independent for Life)
Fridays. Cost: $3.00/class or $60/session
10:00 am-10:45 am via Zoom
Join Derry tanner, retired nurse and certified personal trainer for SAIL. Strength, balance, and flexibility exercises make you stronger and feel better. All you need to participate is comfortable clothing, a sturdy chair, and light weights if you have them.
PODIATRY CLINICS
We offer two podiatry clinics per month for routine foot care by appointment. Please see our newsletter for dates. Clinics tend to fill up quickly, so please call early for your appointment. $10 donation requested. Sponsored by the Friends of the Lincoln Council on Aging and the Pierce House.
WELLNESS CLINICS
Residents of all ages are welcome to come to our Wellness Clinics which take place at Bemis Hall (during podiatry clinics), the Commons, and Lincoln Woods. The clinics are free and staffed by a nurse from Emerson Hospital Home Care. You may get a blood pressure check or body mass index calculation, talk over a health concern, get information about nutrition and fitness and more! The clinics are not intended to diagnose or treat new illnesses. Clinics are funded by the Town of Lincoln. See the COA&HS newsletter for dates and times.
