The Rural Land Foundation (RLF), Lincoln Parks & Recreation and Birches School collaborated on this project that consists of 16 acres of land in Lincoln known as the Wang Property located at 100 Bedford Road.  The Wang Athletic Field opened for use in Spring 2019.

The 16 acres were divided as follows:
3 acres - Parks and Recreation for the development of an athletic field,
4 acres - Birches School for the construction of a school building and parking lot, and
9 acres - RLF for conservation.
