All are invited to enjoy tea and conversation at a new LGBT-focused group to be held the third Friday of each month at 10 am at Bemis Hall. The date this month is December 21. Come share your thoughts, ideas, and life experiences! Older adults from other towns most welcome.
You may be able to stay in your home safely longer than you thought. Come find out what you need to know to make your home fit your needs and abilities at whatever age you are when Jocelyn Fram of HealthPro Heritage of The Commons in Lincoln comes to Bemis Hall on Friday, December 21 at 10 am. She will discuss some of the common safety and falling hazards in our homes, go over a home safety checklist, and talk about the role of occupational therapists in helping you assess your home and making recommendations that are just right for you. The best time to make your home safer is before you have a crisis!
