    This fitness class helps seniors maintain their strength, flexibility & independence with both standing & seated exercise using resistance bands. Warm up moving joints, then proceed to strengthen muscles with upper and lower body exercises. Finish with full body stretch segment. Resistance bands will be given out at class to be used by senior for this session.

  2. Active Aging Exercise at Pierce House with Terri

    This exercise class focuses on functional fitness designed to help seniors maintain strength, balance and independence. Every fitness level can participate with modifications demonstrated. Warm up with flexibility, followed by balance exercises and proceed to resistance training to build lean muscle and increase bone density. Five minute stretch segment at the end of class.
