- Only Lincoln residents are entitled to purchase cemetery

Commissioners.
- State law requires that no interment may take place without

in full.
- Lots shall be marked at the corners
with a stone and at the lower left hand corner with a numbered
Marker sunk level in the ground.
-
The composition, as well as design for headstones or other

on a lot unless the lot is paid for in full.
- The Cemetery Commission has sole care and management of
the public burial grounds in Lincoln. Plantings may be made
with the approval of the Commission which reserves the right
to remove or restrict any shrubs or trees that may become
objectionable from the point of view of appearance or maintenance.
Each grave site may have a defined plant bed at the base

within this area may items of sentimental value be placed.
- The Commission shall have the authority to grant special
permission to depart from the provisions of the foregoing
regulations in cases where it clearly appears that the spirit
and intent of the regulations will not thereby be violated.
The Commission shall not be held liable for any personal
injury claimed by visitors.
-
The Lincoln cemeteries are non-sectarian and are open from

atmosphere of quiet and respect. Accordingly: all pets must
be leashed.
Recreational activities such as horseback
riding, picnicking, jogging, sunbathing, ball playing, roller
blading, skate boarding, mini biking and snowmobiling are

Lincoln's
cemeteries represent the care and concern of many people over
the years. The natural rural quality is to be treasured and
protected by owners and visitors alike. The cemeteries are
not public parks. Tread lightly and honor the dead. The Lincoln
Police regularly patrol the grounds.
