| The mission of the Department of Public Works is to
construct and maintain the Town's infrastructure. This
includes highway maintenance and construction, operation
of the transfer station, snow and ice control, traffic
and parking control, cemetery maintenance, tree mainteenance,
park and recreation maintenance, roadside path construction
and maintenance. The Public Works Department also maintains
the fleet of town vehicles including fire and police
vehicles. |

Beginning immediately, there are no Special Collection Days, all electronics and white goods may be brought to the Transfer Station and placed in bins that are provided, any Wednesday and Saturday.

be closed without notice during inclement weather and in emergencies.

DPW office on Lewis Street Monday through Friday from 7:00
a.m. to 3:00 p.m.. Proof of residency is required.

Routes 2 and 2a, as well as Hanscom Drive are
maintained by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and are
therefore not under the care of the Lincoln Department
of Public Works. For questions regarding these roadways,
please contact MassHighways.
For any after hours emergency situations concerning the
Lincoln Department of Public Works, please contact the
Lincoln Police at 781-259-8111 and the dispatcher will
contact standby DPW personnel. |
