Q. Who can I call after hours to report potentially hazardous roadway conditions?

A.
For any after hours emergency situations concerning the Lincoln Department of Public Works, please contact the Lincoln Police at 781-259-8111 and the dispatcher will contact standby DPW personnel.


Q. How do I get a Transfer Station Sticker?

A.
Stickers are available at no charge. Stickers may be obtained at the DPW office on Lewis Street Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.. Proof of residency is required.


Q. When is the Transfer Station open?

A.
Transfer Station Operating Hours are:

Wednesday 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Residents & Contractors
Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Residents only
Please Note that the transfer station may be closed without notice during inclement weather and in emergencies.

Q. Where is the Lincoln Transfer Station?

A.
Traveling East on Route 2a, drive 150 yards past Hanscom Drive. The Transfer Station is located on the right.


Q. Is the Lincoln DPW responsible for all the roads in Lincoln?

A
. No. Routes 2 and 2a, as well as Hanscom Drive are maintained by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and are therefore not under the care of the Lincoln Department of Public Works. For questions regarding these roadways, please contact Mass Highways.
