Registrations are accepted through the mail, in the office or directly at
the pool.
Simply select the program(s) from our activities
brochure and submit the registration form (extra forms
available by clicking here) to our office. If your child (K-4)
enrolls in a class immediately after school (3:00 p.m.), the Recreation staff
will pick him/her up in the walker’s room at the Smith School and escort
them to the program. You then pick them up after the program is finished.
The Recreation Department does administer youth basketball leagues, which
begin practicing in early December with games starting after the new year. Registration
forms are handed out in the schools, and are available in the office.
We do not, however, administer soccer or baseball. Both are operated by a group
of dedicated parent volunteers. The Recreation office does carry enrollment forms
and information newsletters for these activities in the office.
Unfortunately we are not equipped to handle credit card payments. We accept
registrations in the mail or at the office on a first come first served basis.
The Lincoln Summer Day Camp offers both traditional camp programs such as
creative arts, nature, sports, arts and crafts and swimming lessons and imaginative
special events and trips. The camp runs for six weeks in the summer in three,
two week sessions, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (noon for campers entering K). Extended
hours are from 7:45-8:45 a.m. and 3-6 p.m. Campers are entering K-8 grade. A
counselor in training program is offered for students entering grades 9 and 10.
Non-residents are welcome to attend for a small surcharge. Registrations begin
in April.
