DISTRICT COMMISSION
LINCOLN HISTORICAL COMMISSION
This Commission is responsible for administering the Historic
Districts in the Town of Lincoln, which includes approvals
for all exterior renovations and visible from a public way.
This Commission is responsible for the community-wide preservation
issues and for proposing additional properties, that could
be added to the local Historic Districts or recommended to
the National Register of Historic Places. This Commission
also oversees the Demolition Delay By-Law.

Service Description: The Commission meets
on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Building
Department, Town Offices. Meeting dates are posted downstairs
by the Selectmen’s Office and are also listed on the
calendar of the Lincoln community web site. All meetings are
open to the public. Citizens wishing to be placed on the agenda
for a particular meeting should call the HDC/LHC secretary
at 781-259-2613, at least three weeks prior to the meeting.
