South Lincoln Planning Implementation Committee (SLPIC)
The Planning Board is looking for members to participate in a South Lincoln Planning Implementation Committee (SLPIC) a subcommittee of the Planning Board and will focus on project specific planning projects and establish project specific working teams as needed that include additional members representing various stakeholders based on the type of project.  The focus will be on Lincoln Station/South Lincoln. To read more about the project click here

Lincoln's Complete Streets Program

Hazard Mitigation Plan

The Town will be submitting the draft Hazard Mitigation Plan to MEMA and to FEMA shortly. Please submit any comments prior to January 6, 2017 to the Planning Director at For more information on this plan view the menu selection on the left. 

Service Description

The Planning Department staff acts as a central point of contact for land use projects that may need review by more than one board and can advise project proponents on the applicable rules, procedures and scheduling. The Land Use Permitting Guide outlines the responsibilities of several town boards and departments.

From time to time the Planning Board and its staff are involved in providing a town response to major projects or land use changes which are not directly under the Town's control. Examples are liaison and advocacy in relation to Route 2 upgrades and changes at the Hanscom Air Force Base and Civil Air Terminal.
