The Conservation Commission and Parks & Recreation Committee - through its staff, a resident-based Advisory Group, and a consultant - are spearheading the effort to update the Open Space and Recreation Plan (OSRP) for approval by MA Division of Conservation Services.

The continued effort to plan for and protect important open space & recreation resources helps enhance the Town’s character and facilitates smart growth in the future. In addition, having a State approved Plan allows Lincoln to access funds that may be available for open space and recreation. The 7-year Plan help to identify priorities, goals, strategies and actions to be implemented over the next seven years.
