Lincoln's K-8 programs are combined in one complex
on Ballfield Road off Lincoln Road. A major school building and
reconstruction project was completed in 1996, which added new
rooms and facilities to the school complex.
The Smith Building houses grades K-4 and includes
a separate kindergarten wing, dedicated science and computer labs
and its own gymnasium/multi-purpose facility. The Brooks Building
serves as a middle school for grades 5-8. The 1996 remodeling
added new classrooms and computer resources, and renovated the
gymnasium. The complex shares a state-of-the-art media center
and library. The school campus includes soccer, baseball and softball
fields and several playgrounds designed for various age groups,
including one for toddlers.
As announced in the Lincoln Journal, the K-8 Task Force Reports are now available
online. They are in pdf file format and require Adobe Acrobat Reader* to view
them.
