Roadside & Traffic Committee’s Role
The Traffic Committee is an advisory committee to the Select Board, serving as a sounding board to the DPW Superintendent as he develops plans and designs for the care and maintenance of Lincoln’s roads and roadsides. The Committee, comprised of members of key town agencies (i.e., Select Board , Town Administrator, Tree Warden and Planning Board), key community stakeholder groups (i.e., the Garden Club), and two at-large citizens. Our goal is to help the DPW maintain the Town’s roads and roadside paths in a safe manner, while preserving the rural character of the roads and surrounding landscapes.(Selectmen’s Most Recent Charge: 03/15/10)
