The Town Clerk's Office is responsible for recording all deaths that occur in the Town of Lincoln.
Death certificates are public records. Certified death records may be obtained in person or by mail.
The fee to obtain a death certificate is $10.00;
checks payable to the Town of Lincoln.
To pick up certificates in person, please order your certificates by phone and they will be prepared in advance of your arrival. Walk-in requests are also accepted; you will need to wait while the certificates are prepared.
To receive certificates by mail, please send a request stating the name and date of death, include a check or money order, and a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
