  1. Memory Café for Elders with Dementia and Caregivers

    The Commons in Lincoln, Right-at-Home In Home Care and Assistance, and the Lincoln Council on Aging invite those with dementia and their family, friends, and caregivers to the free Lincoln Memory Café on Thursday, September 26 from 10:30 a.m. to noon in the main building of The Commons in Lincoln. The Memory Café offers the opportunity for older adults with memory impairment and those who care for them to spend some fun, social time together. Enjoy delicious refreshments and entertainment by pianist Jerry Hurley who will play some of your favorite oldies as well as new songs. The Memory Café is held each fourth Thursday of the month from 10:30 am to noon at The Commons in Lincoln (except in November and December when it will be the third Thursday due to holidays).   2. Getting RMV Services and Your REAL ID at the AAA

    The AAA offers road service, travel, insurance, financial services and Registry of Motor Vehicles services. You can renew or replace your license or ID, renew or replace your registration, transfer your registration, and replace your vehicle title. You can also get your “REAL ID,” an enhanced form of identification that you will need to travel or enter federal buildings beginning October 1, 2020. Come to Bemis Hall on Thursday, September 26 at 2:15 pm to hear Samantha Sheridan from AAA talk about their services and how to use them as well as what documents are required for REAL ID.
